Who is Dirty Dog Gaming?
The company is new, but the talent is not. Dirty Dog Gaming's founder, Frank Pellegrini, devoted over 40 years to the coin-operated arcade games industry. Before Frank established the development powerhouse known as Team Play, Inc.® Frank enjoyed an extremely successful career with coin‑op manufacturers such as Bally Midwest, Atari Manufacturing, Konami USA, Electronic Arts, Sega Enterprises USA, and TouchTunes Music Corporation. Frank also invented the use of debit card systems in video arcades and licensed his ‘622 Patent to entities including The Walt Disney Company, Dave & Buster’s, GameWorks, and American Express. In sum, Frank knows the coin-op game industry, inside and out. (Read more about Frank’s experience at: Meet the Owner).
In 2019, Frank sold his ownership interest in Team Play, Inc., and incorporated Dirty Dog Gaming, Inc. As a result of the stock sale transaction, Dirty Dog Gaming® owns the exclusive rights to all current and future redemption games, video games, and other entertainment games developed by Team Play and its principals or affiliates, for utilization as Gaming Machines for gambling and wagering. Team Play’s principals have decades of experience in every aspect of the coin-op industry, including design, development, manufacturing, distribution, and operating arcade games. How does the Intellectual Property License work?
In very general terms, the licensee / manufacturer pays Dirty Dog Gaming® an advance payment of royalties upon signing of the IP license agreement. This gives you exclusive rights to the licensed arcade game for a specified period of time. Your company then develops Gaming Commission-approved software, incorporates it into the cabinet and mechanical aspects of our arcade game, and submits the resulting slot machine product through the licensing process to convert the game into a legalized, gaming / slot machine. Once you start placing the slot machines into your customers’ casinos, daily royalties to Dirty Dog Gaming will begin to accrue. Those royalties are first applied against the advance, before any additional royalties are paid. Forgive the oversimplification, but rest assured that Dirty Dog Gaming’s owner has extensive experience in intellectual property licensing.

The information in this web site is intended to provide a general description of our business. We retain the right to reject any offer to license a game, and there is no agreement until in writing and signed by both parties. Nonetheless, we welcome your inquiries! Frank would be happy to talk with you about how we can shorten your slot machine development time, with an intellectual property license from Dirty Dog Gaming.
